  • 6 bacon strips, diced

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon right up until crisp. Take away to paper towels. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
  • In very same skillet, combine vinegar, brown sugar and reserved drippings. Carry to a boil cook and stir till sugar is dissolved. Awesome slightly.
  • Meanwhile, in a serving bowl, combine spinach, apples, onion and bacon. Drizzle with warm dressing toss to coat. Serve right away.

Way as well sweet. I use raspberry dressing which is a tiny sweet but the other flavors make is quite balanced. We don’t use sugar. I typically use stevia, agave or other non sugar sweetener. Otherwise, I use Fuji apples and minimize them considerably smaller sized. Slices this large are awkward to consume particularly if your mouth is small or for young children.

I utilized turkey bacon, which doesn’t have a great deal of “drippings” due to the fact it really is reduce in body fat, so I added a small olive oil to the skillet to make up for it in the dressing.
